Dolly Parton surprises fans by releasing songs for 78th birthday

Dolly Parton surprised her fans and music lovers by releasing four surprise songs in celebration of her 78th birthday on Friday.

The music legend shared in an Instagram post on Friday, addressing her fans and friends, that it is her birthday so she is going to give fans a present!

The iconic country singer continued that to celebrate the big day, she is releasing four never-released songs for her birthday, to go with the Rockstar album as she turned 78 on January 19.

The singer-songwriter and actress was born on January 19, 1946.

 “I hope you enjoy them, and you all have a happy birthday for me! LOL,” she wrote.

“Rockstar Deluxe” is available now on all digital streaming platforms and follows the record’s initial release in November 2023.

The other tracks include Rockin’ It (Live), Hit Me With Your Best Shot, Mama Never Said, Two Tickets To Paradise, Jolene (featuring Måneskin), Stay Out Of My Bedroom, Bridge Over Troubled Water, The Entertainer, and Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).

Her rock and her 49th solo album “Rockstar,” was released in November and featured a string of songs and covers with the greatest names in music. The sons include Sting, Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, her goddaughter Miley Cyrus, Elton John, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr.
