Oscar nominations 2024: ‘Oppenheimer’ leads contenders with 13 nominations

This year’s Oscar nominees have been unveiled on Tuesday morning.

Actors Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid announced the nominations for the 96th Academy Awards from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California.

A total of 321 feature films qualified for consideration.

The Christopher Nolan film “Oppenheimer” has led Oscar contenders with 13 nominations. The fantasy film “Poor Things,” received 11 nominations, while the Martin Scorsese drama “Killers of the Flower Moon” got 10 nominations.

The summer blockbuster “Barbie” earned eight nominations.

Jimmy Kimmel will host the Oscars for a fourth time, which will take place on March 10.
