SAG Awards 2024: See complete list of winners

The 30th annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards were presented at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Saturday night as Hollywood’s biggest stars hit the red carpet.

Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” scored three big wins at the SAG Awards 2024, reports The New York Times.

The film’s top honour brought cast Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr, Emily Blunt, and others to the stage.

The epic biographical thriller film “Oppenheimer” gained top prizes at the Golden Globes, BAFTA, and Critics Choice Awards. Moreover, the film is considered the front-runner for the Best Picture Oscar.

“Oppenheimer” star Murphy triumphed over Paul Giamatti and Bradley Cooper among others for his performance as the physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer. Robert led the Manhattan Project to develop the atomic bomb during World War II.

Although star Emma Stone won the BAFTA for best actress last weekend, star Lily Gladstone triumphed at SAG for her turn as an Osage woman.

SAG honored Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Downey. Randolph played a grieving school cook in “The Holdovers,” while Downey delivered a seething performance as a political operative in “Oppenheimer.” However, both stars have dominated the season.

Barbra Streisand accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony.
