Arsenal thrashed struggling Crystal Palace at Emirates Stadium in London on Saturday and reignited their Premier League title challenge with a 5-0 win.
Central defender Gabriel Magalhaes helped Arsenal to achieve the win as well as solve its scoring problems as the Gunners ended a three-game losing streak in all competitions with the 5-0 win, reports BBC.
The first two goals came from corners as Gabriel first headed in a corner in the 11th minute and then forced an own goal from another set piece delivery in the 37th.
Leandro Trossard scored the third following a quick counterattack in the 59th minute, and substitute Gabriel Martinelli completed the rout with two near-identical goals in injury time.
This victory will have restored confidence as they bid to reignite their title charge.
The result takes Arsenal into third place while level on points with Manchester City and Aston Villa, and two points behind champions Liverpool, and Crystal Palace remains 14th, five points above the relegation zone.
