US wrestler Terry Brunk, better known by his ring name Sabu, who died at 60, was known for his trademark hardcore wrestling style and entered the land of wrestling back in 1985.

Sabu, a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star, pioneered Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) from 1993 and 2000 and also was a pioneer of hardcore wrestling, leaping from chairs and driving his opponents.

In addition to being a former ECW Champion, the hardcore wrestling pioneer was a three-time World Heavyweight Champion

Of them, he achieved the winning of the ECW World Heavyweight Championship twice. He also won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship once.

The US wrestler passed away recently, just weeks after Sabu contested in his final match.

His uncle The Sheik, wrestling legend, encouraged Sabu, who innovated the hardcore style.

Sabu, as a wrestler, carried the craft forward and fought in various wrestling promotions in the USA and Japan.

Sabu, who also had a short stint with the WWE, joined the rebellious wrestling promotion, ECW, in the mid-’90s.

His exciting wrestling style delivered the wrestling promotion with a character.

Being a part of the infamous WCW promotion, Sabu had a few matches before eventually heading back to Extreme Championship Wrestling until the end of the promotion’s existence.

WWE expressed deep condolences to learn of the death of Terry Brunk.

Sabu, the nephew of US professional wrestler The Sheik, became a national star as part of ECW.

Through tables and even barbed wire, he was a pioneer of hardcore wrestling, leaping from chairs and driving his opponents.
