How to Use the Free Online Countdown Timer

Our countdown timer helps you track time quickly and easily. Create a normal countdown or set a timer for a future date and time. No signup or app installation needed.

Step 1: Open Settings and Choose a Mode

Firstly, click on the Settings button to open timer options. You can choose any one mode, like Countdown or Target Date mode.

Countdown Mode → Set hours, minutes, and seconds.

Target Date Mode → Select a future date and time.

Step 2: Customize Your Timer

You can also customize default settings like:

  • Timer title
  • Alert sound
  • Volume level
  • Popup notification option
  • What happens when the timer finishes

Use Test Sound if needed and click Save & Apply after making changes.

Step 3: Start and Control the Timer

Click the Start Timer button to begin. While the timer is running, you can:

  • Pause to stop temporarily
  • Reset to start again from the beginning
  • Stop to end the timer completely

Step 4: Share Your Timer

Finally, click on Share Timer to generate a shareable link. You can then share it with others.
