American actress Pamela Bach also known as Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, apparently has died by suicide in her Los Angeles home at the age of 61.

According to reports, Pamela died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but authorities found no suicide note.

Pamela, who originated the role of Mari Jo Mason on the daytime drama The Young and Restless, was the ex-wife of Baywatch star David Hasselhoff.

In her final Instagram post, the actress wrote a message of “happiness” and “gratitude” before she was found dead on Wednesday (March 5).

In the post, she shared her joy about her granddaughter in London and wished her followers love, health, and happiness.

Her two daughters Hayley and Taylor Ann Hasselhoff, her granddaughter survive Pamela.

In an X post on Thursday, the “Baywatch” actor said their family is deeply saddened by the recent demise of Pamela.

He said during this difficult period, the family is grateful for the expression of love and support.

The actor also requested her privacy as the family grieves and navigates through this challenging time.

Pamela, originally from Oklahoma, moved to Los Angeles in 1985 and met her future husband on the set of his hit show Knight Rider the same year.

Pamela and Hasselhoff were married in December 1989. The couple has two daughters– Taylor and Hayley. Hasselhoff filed for divorce in 2006, but Bach accused him of domestic abuse.

Bach played a vital role in 14 episodes of “Baywatch” (1991 to 2000).

The actress also appeared in a single episode of “Baywatch Nights” in 1997 as well as Rumble Fish” in 1983 and many other 1980s. She also starred in Knight Rider”, “T.J. Hooker,” “The Fall Guy,” and “Cheers”.
